My personal experience of donating eggs in Hong Kong
• 20 January 2009 - Decided to donate my eggs, but how?
• 21 January 2009 - Started a thread on local Pregnancy and Parenting Forum, asking how I can donate my eggs in Hong Kong
• 7 February 2009 - I have a reply! M is born without ovaries so her only chance of getting pregnant is through donated eggs.
• 18 February 2009 - First consultation with Dr C
• 4 March 2009 - Full physical exam + blood tests + transvaginal ultrasound [prodded #1] with Dr C
• 14 March 2009 - My period started
• 16 March 2009 - [prodded #2], blood test, start of daily gonadotrophin injections [poked #1]
• 20 March 2009 - [prodded #3], poking myself with Menopur + Gonal F + Cetrotide [poked #6]
• 23 March 2009 - [prodded #4], blood test
• 25 March 2009 - [final poke]
• 26 March 2009 - Egg retrieval: 55 eggs!
• 28 March 2009 - Allergic to Avelox, still getting awful cramps
• 30 March 2009 - Back to Dr C, external ultrasound, blood test: yes I have OHSS
• 1 April 2009 - Heartburn almost killed me. Back to Dr C again.
• 2 April 2009 - Getting better with help of Nexium and Gaviscon. M updated me, 13 blastocysts made it!
• 2 September 2009 - Final blood test (HIV) before embryo transfer can take place for M

• 14 April 2009 - Beginning of the next chapter: donation #2 to T
• 23 April 2009 - T would like to do live embryo transfer in the U.K.; still waiting for answers from her clinic
• 3 June 2009 - trip to London confirmed; appointments with clinic in London also penciled in
• 30 July 2009 - arrived in London; met T for the very first time
• 31 July 2009 - counseling session + first meeting with the ARGC + blood tests
• 8 September 2009 - period day #1; appointment with Dr C for blood tests
• 18 September 2009 - visit to Dr C + scan. Prolactin level is slightly elevated, re-do blood test
• 22 September 2009 - visit to Dr C + scan, all normal. Follicles growing, ovulating soon
• 26 September 2009 - Ovulation!
• 11 October 2009 - period day #1
• 22 October 2009 - visit to Dr C
• 31 October 2009 - start of nasal spray 3 times a day (day #21 of period)
• 14 November 2009 - period day #1; here we go!
• 17 November 2009 - visit to Dr C + scan + complete hormone profile test
• 18 November 2009 - visit to Dr C but no further instructions from the ARGC. Nasal spray 4 times daily
• 19 November 2009 - blood test
• 20 November 2009 - visit to Dr C but again no further instructions; off to London!
• 21 November 2009 - arrival in London, visit to ARGC + blood tests + scan, poke #1 (150 IU Gonal-F)
• 22 November 2009 - poke #2 (112.5 IU Gonal-F)
• 23 November 2009 - poke #3 (112.5 IU Gonal-F); scan
• 24 November 2009 - poke #4 (75 IU Merional)
• 25 November 2009 - poke #5 (112.5 IU Gonal-F), scan
• 26 November 2009 - poke #6 (37.5 IU Gonal-F), 2x blood tests
• 27 November 2009 - poke #7 (75 IU Gonal-F + 37.5 IU Gonal-F); scan + 2x blood tests
• 28 November 2009 - poke #8 (3 mg Cetrotide); LH level down to 5.9
• 29 November 2009 - poke #9 (75 IU Gonal-F + 37.5 IU Gonal-F); 2x blood tests
• 2 December 2009 – trigger poke!
• 4 December 2009 – Egg retrieval; 19 eggs collected!
• 4 December 2009 – Egg retrieval; 19 eggs collected!
• 9 December 2009 – T’s embryo transfer
• 29 January 2010 – T is 10 weeks pregnant!
